Community Partner Camps
We hosted 38 organizations and 2,514 participants at Sierra Nevada Journeys Camp for leadership and teambuilding workshops, youth empowerment retreats, and continuing education. As an experiential education nonprofit, we create one-of-a-kind experiences for groups so that they can build unity and trust as they work together on our challenge course.
“The hardest part about being here is going home. I made meaningful connections with people, and seeing all the love, devotion, and understanding we share as survivors was the most impactful part of our time at Camp.”

Strengthening Communities Through Meaningful Partnerships
Community Partnerships
For more than 15 years, the Youth Development Network has partnered with Sierra Nevada Journeys to host the Strengths Leadership Camp for both students and adults. During this retreat, participants engage in strengths exploration, team-building activities, and action planning. They return to their schools and communities equipped with new skills and strategies, which they use to implement their plans, enhance safety, and foster a more supportive environment.
